Spokane RPC Regular 150mile “A” & “B”

The Spokane RPC flew their first regular “A” race of the 2013 old bird season from Pendleton, Oregon on April 21, 2013 with 9 shipping 172 birds.

Conditions upon release were partly cloudy, 5mph Southwest wind and 45 degrees with conditions upon return being partly cloudy, 7mph Southwest wind and 45 degrees.

Bill Tinsley took the 1st and 2nd flying a distance of 155.605 miles with a winning speed of 1827.455ypm. Miles Becker placed 3, 4, 5, 6 and 14th with Eric Houchin of Mountain View Lofts placing 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14th respectfully.

Spo Pendleton A

They flew their first regular “B” race from Pendleton as well with 8 lofts shipping 383 birds. Conditions upon release and return were similar with Don Miner (Gruen Loft) sweeping the race by placing 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9th. Only Eric Houchin was able to break his sweep by clocking 10th and 11th 21 and 24 seconds behind!
